Policies and governance

The NTJFA is committed to providing a modern governance model. This allows all those participating, managing and volunteering in junior football in Northern Tasmania to enjoy the experience in a fair, safe environment.

The NTJFA's purpose is to ensure current and future generations of Northern Tasmanians engage with, participate in, and enjoy the benefits of football. Providing this in an inclusive environment through the promotion, encouragement and oversight of the growth and development of football is essential.

The NTJFA is also committed to increasing and maintaining high levels of engagement, and connecting the pathways from grass roots to senior football. Through good governance and financial oversight, the NTJFA ensures that  football is played and enjoyed by all in the community, thus providing a sustainable platform for  junior Football.
