As per email advice on Friday the 26th of May 2023, from Rounds 9-15 this season the NTJFA has implemented the Mercy Rule Policy for the U12 Competitions.

The Board acknowledges that it is not ideal to implement a new policy during a season but recognised that parents and club concerns about the large point differentials required attention now and could not wait until 2024 season.

We thank the NTFUA and NTJFA Member clubs for their assistance in implementing this policy and trust that all parties (Umpires/Match Managers/Team Managers/Coaches/Players), can work together to ensure the successful transition of the rules during matches.
